Congratulations guys! I know I’ve said it a million times BUT this wedding was truly one for the record books. Dianne & Matthew poured intentionality and deep thought into each part of their wedding. In the words of Dianne, she thought some traditions were “antiquated” and she didn’t feel forced to adopt any of them if they didn’t hold meaning for her or Matthew. BRIDES . . . this wedding was so chill and natural and I know it had something to do with the fact that this couple owned every part of their wedding. This ideology is one more couples should adopt. Go forth- make memories!!
This wedding is a charmer that I will never forget! Check out more pictures on The Wedding Row. Enjoy!
This engagement session at Cypress Gardens is one I’ll never forget! As a photographer I’m always up for new challenges so when Allison and Tom told me about their love for the outdoors and that they were thinking of this location, I was over-the-moon excited. :) Just look at all the GORGEOUS light! Lydia, at Ever Ours, published this e-session and she talks a little about the location’s connection with the movie, The Notebook. If you’re looking for a rustic engagement location a little outside Charleston, SC, this is your place. It’s located in Moncks Corner and comes complete with a butterfly house, a cypress swamp that you can paddle around in, and extensive grounds to traips through. The people who work at Cypress Gardens are quick to offer advice or help. One sweet lady even paddled me around to make my job a bit easier. Enjoy!
We found some property outside Cypress Gardens which afforded the superb red leafed tree you see above! I was a little afraid that someone might come running out with a shotgun, yelling, “Get off my land!” Ha! No one bothered us and we walked around the tall grassy fields for about 15 minutes. The sun was setting and we finished our session with some serenly, romantic closeups.
This is why I LOVE being a Charleston photographer!
Timber & Stephen . . . You’re famous! This sweet-as-sugar nautical wedding in Charleston SC has just been published on Under the Vintage Veil!! Even though their ceremony was VERY public (on the end of a busy pier) it still felt intimate. Charleston weddings have an air of ease about them and this one is near and dear to my heart. :) To see their full wedding click here: Timber & Stephen’s Nautical Wedding
