    Summer Celebration | Best Friends Are Awesome!

    Today is the official first day of summer in this neck of the woods.  This was my first crack at homeschooling and I think we did pretty well. Even though we homeschool, we go by the school’s calendar. For all you kids out there, and parents who remember the joy of an ending school year I just want to say . . .

    IT’S SUMMER!!!!!!

     My best friend, Rachel, sent us all a package and it just happened to arrive today. The boys were thrilled to get there presents.  Can I just say that I have the best friend in the whole world?!? Rach, you know how to treat a girl right!

    Let the festivities begin.

    Palmetto Orthodontics | William Gets His Braces!

    Last October it was time for my oldest child to get braces, so we went to see Dr. Cox at Palmetto Orthodontics!  As soon as we came in, we saw the staff wrote his name on a special board welcoming him.  Awe!!!  Myranda helped Will get acquainted with the system and in no time at all he was in a chair, being prepped for banding.  Dr. Cox is always engaging, remembers Will’s name, and smiles the whole time he works. The office girls are all super sweet and helpful! We seriously look forward to the appointments just to see their smiling faces . . . and the video games and treats don’t hurt either! :)

    I also enjoy business photography, especially events, grand openings, and staff photography for Charleston’s local businesses.

    My Friend | Hannah Farmer

The subject is “Charleston nautical” and you don’t want to miss this gorgeous series she put together.  Part of the proceeds will go to the James Island Christian Church Adoption Fund.  Come out, sip wine, and show some love to Hannah!     The Boys | Reading & Throwing Rocks

    Reading is one of our favorite things to do.  Every day before nap and night time we pile up together, flip through pages, and enjoy the calm. It’s one of the best parts of being a mom.  A close second to reading books is throwing rocks . . . at the floor. Try it!

    The Boys | Harri is TWO!

    It seems like just yesterday I was holding my sweet baby boy- my last of three.  He is the classic third child: mild mannered, compliant, helpful, caring.  Here’s our family celebrating his 2nd birthday with brownies, a surprise outside, cards, and phone calls to great grandmas. (never mind the lack of clothing)  Living in Charleston affords us great weather for most of the year!  My best friend lives in New York- I think she was in the middle of a snow storm while I had fun doing what I do best (being a mommy and a photographer). :)
